DRS Nationals Calendar 2025
Nationals 2025 Seizoen
The Dutch Racing Series Nationals 2025
The Dutch Racing Series: The standard in kart racing without owning your own kart!
After a great season at 9 different tracks in 2024, we will continue rocking the boat in 2025. The DRS Nationals 2025 will consist of 10 GPs at different tracks in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium! Exactly which ones we'll keep secret for a while, but you can bet the line-up will be even more insane than last year.
The classes, weights and races in 2025
Thanks to the feedback we received from the drivers, and the experience we gained in 2024, we have put together the classes and corresponding weights slightly differently this year. For example, we have one more sprint class than last year and no more sprints with mixed classes. More different weight classes have also been added to make it easier to choose which class you want to compete in.
Kart school and training opportunities
During all Nationals 2025 GPs, several karting schools will be present to provide exclusive lessons. These training sessions will take place on Sunday mornings, prior to the races.
Please note that registration for the lesson blocks will be via the karting schools themselves.
In addition to these lesson blocks, individual training heats of 15 minutes each will also be offered on Fridays where possible.
Scrap result
In 2025 we will again work with a scrap result, only it will work differently from the previous year. For the sprints, the points from all 4 races in a GP will be saved, at the end of the season the 4 lowest points of the whole season will be scrapped. Can't make it to a GP for whatever reason? Then those 4 races will count as your scrap results. This means that if you cannot make it one time for whatever reason, your championship is not directly at stake.
For Endurance, 1 set of points is given and saved per GP, at the end of the season we delete the GP with the lowest result. Can your team not make it to a GP? Then that GP counts as a scrap result. So your team can miss 1 GP for whatever reason without jeopardising the championship.
In the new regulations (coming soon) we will give disqualifications for individual races (Sprints) in exceptional cases, a DQ will never be counted as a scrap result. So read the regulations carefully to avoid surprises.
