DRS presents 24h of Landsard

24 hours of karting at Landsard!

This year, the DRS, in collaboration with the Landsard outdoor karting circuit, presents the 24h of Landsard on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of June!

For years, the Dutch Racing Series has been organising the most thrilling, mentally and physically exhausting, and unique karting event in the Netherlands: the Dutch 24h. Twenty-four hours of karting, competing, and working together with your teammates to win that coveted trophy. And this year, we are presenting a special third edition at the fantastic Landsard circuit!

The 24h of Landsard takes place on Saturday and Sunday. Prior to the race, there is free practice and qualifying. Around noon on Saturday, the race traditionally starts with a real Le Mans start! The 24h of Landsard is raced with specially prepared race karts from the Dutch Racing Series. These karts are exclusively intended for DRS races and specials such as the 24h of Landsard and the Dutch 24h at Lelystad and are always kept in top condition thanks to a strict maintenance schedule and special preparation.

2 DIFFERENT CLASSES: FUN & PRO

The race is run in two classes: FUN and PRO. Both classes race simultaneously on the track, but each competes for their own podium.

  • PRO Class: for the real diehards! Teams that race together more often and have exceptional stamina, both mentally and physically.
    • The PRO Class must make at least 32 pit stops!
  • FUN Class: ideal for less experienced teams and riders who mainly want to experience this unique event. Here, fun and experience are key!
    • the FUN Class must make at least 38 pit stops!

 

MAXIMUM FAIR PLAY

To keep the competition as fair as possible, clear rules apply:

  • Driving is based on weight.
  • Drivers must change karts at every pit stop.
  • No driver may remain on the track for more than 55 consecutive minutes before having to pit again.

Due to its enormous popularity, we always organise two editions per year at Lelystad, and this year Landsard will be added:

PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING RULES:

  1. Registration for the Endurance must include a team name, and at least 4 riders per team must be entered.
  2. Choose the correct class in which you want to ride. Changing classes after you have registered costs €50 administration fee per change.
  3. You are required to select a maximum of 1 class per team during registration. All changes incur an €50 administration fee per change.
  4. Think carefully about your team name, as changing your team name incurs an €50 administration fee per change.
  5. If you wish to transfer your registration to another team, you must contact us in advance and this will incur an €50 administration fee per change.
  6. If you want to earn SWS points during this race, your SWS team account must be exactly the same as the team name you entered during your registration.
  7. Your SWS team account must also have at least 4 riders with exactly the same names as the riders you have entered with us.
  8. Minimum length for driver entry is 1.40m!
