27 & 28 June – Cancelled

Dear DRS Drivers,

Unfortunately, we have some bad news; we have just received a message from Eindhoven City Council with an urgent request to cancel all events this weekend. Due to the KNMI’s extended Code Red warning caused by the high temperatures, and under pressure from the Ministry of Health and Eindhoven City Council, the Dutch Racing Series and Kartcircuit de Landsard have therefore decided to cancel the races.

Despite the many precautionary measures we as an organisation have taken in the hope that we might still be able to go ahead, our hands are now tied and we are complying with the urgent advice from the ministries. Unfortunately, we are all facing a situation of force majeure here.

We, of course, find this very regrettable ourselves, and hope to be able to organise the event again at a later date when, hopefully, it will be a little cooler. We would like to thank all the teams who have registered for the 24h or Landsard, and all the drivers who have registered for the Elite Rotax on Sunday, for your entries. All teams and entrants will have their entry fees refunded within the coming week.

Take it easy this coming weekend, look after yourselves, apply plenty of sun cream, keep a cool head, and see you next time!
